I have learned the piper’s tune, doing unto others as they’ve done unto me… Relationships go stale when given the time, and I have too often been a victim of the worldly and their fleeting passions. Now I avoid investing time in building onerous ties, searching for the girl who falls in love with strangers and gives me her heart by the close of day. It is true, I have given up devotion to a taxing pursuit in exchange for an equally exhaustive search… but the irony does not sicken me as one would have me believe.
